Job Summery:


Perform automotive warranty data analysis to determine warranty claims scope, costs, reliability, failures trends, and related quality metrics.



Job consists of regularly updating standard analyses reports (60%) as well as advanced studies of warranty analysis and database management (40%). Specific tasks include:



  • Understand and help define engineering requests for warranty data analysis and determine optimal strategies to deliver the requested data
  • Perform effective data mining to retrieve warranty data, correctly analyze the data to efficiently achieve the objectives, and draw the appropriate conclusions from the analyses.

    5.Body Structure Design Engineer(CLOSED)


  • Position Description:

    • Body Structure Design Engineer responsible for material cost reduction (MCR). This individual will be a member of a cross functional MCR Team located in Louisville, Kentucky in our Kentucky Truck Assembly Plant. Engineer will be on travel basis on expense account. This position is responsible for MCR idea generation, benchmarking, engineering analysis, establishing manufacturing feasibility, functional trials, engineering sign-off and implementation. Close interaction with Body CAD, Vehicle Operations, Stamping Division, Suppliers, CAE and Attruibute Teams is required.

    • Real-Time Powertrain Embedded Software Engineer for Research and Advanced division. Be the single point of contact for powertrain controls on the above pre-programs. Chair Powertrain Controls SPMT for select pre-programs. Design/Write/Test engine control software for all department supported projects. Support rapid control prototyping of the dept.   • Position Description:

    • Manufacturing Engineer Cutting Tools (Launch) -Manage on-going tool quality activities. - Assist in assimilation of quality data and prepare quality records. -Design and maintain a Block tool change strategy for maximum uptime. -Maintain Frist Time Through. - Investigate causal factors for all unscheduled tool changes and process concerns. - Lead 8D problem solving teams. - Interface with manufacturing personnel to resolve tooling and quality concerns. - Manage on-going tooling improvement/quality activities. - DCP participation. - Assure compliance to QS/ISO.

  • Position Description:

  • Position Description:

    • - Provide CFD design analysis support to Internal Combustion Engine engineering programs to achieve performance, emissions, and fuel economy targets. - Plan and conduct 1D fluid flow, 3D CFD steady state and transient, and 1D-3D coupled transient analyses for cooling system, turbocharger, intake, exhaust, lubrication, and combustion system components and subsystems. - Actively participate in design engineering teams (CPMT/EPMT/FACET) to drive the design by defining analyses required, presenting results, making design recommendations, and following through implementation to ensure targets are met. - Apply 6-Sigma Analytical Reliability & Robustness methodologies to optimize engine components and systems.

    13.Technician / Technologist Dynamometer(CLOSED)


  • Position Description:

    • Responsible for operating powertrain dynamometer systems for NVH testing Instrument powerplants with accelerometers, pressure sensors and microphones, and conduct testing using LMS The use of Calibration tools such as ATI, Calvin and ETAS system Test lab software and check data for quality assurance. Fabricate fixtures to accommodate test stand installations and special testing. Assist / support powertrain section when critical project timing demands.

    14.Design and Release Engineer(CLOSED)


    Postion Duties:

  • Design & release engineering of hot end and cold end exhaust systems.
  • Lead the design effort and completion of DV/PV and coordinate with interfacing activities to drive compatible/optimal designs that meet QCWF targets.
  • Communicate design development by leading CPMT meetings, support design reviews, drive for commonization, meet milestones and manage supplier interactions.
  • Work with suppliers to meet all requirements and quality documentation for a flawless launch.

    • 15.Electronics Engineer(CLOSED)

    Electronics Engineer needed to plan and develop applications and modifications for electronic properties used in components, products, and systems, to improve technical performance. Design electronic circuits, components and integrated systems, utilizing ferroelectric, nonlinear, and thermoelectric properties of materials for an automotive engineering firm. Designs test control apparatus and equipment, determines procedures for testing products and directs engineering personnel in fabrication of test control apparatus and equipment. Develops new applications of conductive properties of metallic and nonmetallic materials used in components, and in application of components to products or systems. Direct field operations and maintenance of electronic installations and evaluate operational systems and recommend design modifications to eliminate causes of malfunctions or changes in system requirements. He will use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.



    Job Description:

    M.S degree in Electrical Engineering with equivalent programming experience strongly preferred. Ideal candidate will possess over three (3) years designing real-time software in embedded C and has had excellent experience in building, programming and implementing real-time electronic systems. Good experience and knowledge in Matlab and LabView including developing and implementing integration between those software and Electronic boards. Excellent experience (3 years and more) in microcontrollers (Motorola). 3 years and more experience in Printed Circuit Board including designing and creating new libraries for various types of electronic circuits and boards.

    Two (2) years experience in designing and developing Graphical User Interface to communicate with Electronic boards (Visual Basic knowledge is a must). Two (2) years experience in Controller Area Network based systems (successfully implemented Network projects is a must). Self-starter and self motivated individual who understands the importance of being a team player to achieve organizational goals. Handles pressure with a positive attitude.



    Primary skills and responsibilities:

  • Programming real-time control software in C, Assembly and Forth Languages.
