Tractor
TRACTOR is a software package that enables automotive engineers to perform on road, real world, calibration and testing of vehicles for emissions, fuel economy and driveability. Some of the features available are:
- User selectable, pre-programmed, standard drive cycles (EPA / CARB / MVEURO / etc.) or user’s own custom cycles
- TRACTOR only requires a single input of vehicle sped, configurable for a variety of sources including:
- Production vehicle speed sensor
- Non-contact optical speed sensor
- Wheel Mounted optical shaft encoder
- Fifth wheel speed sensor
- Drive cycle can be displayed on a Laptop PC or an optional Heads Up Display (HUD) is also available
- The Laptop PC can also be used for simultaneous data acquisition and display of engine / vehicle parameters (i.e. temperatures, pressures, etc.)
